TRALALAS release new single "Burns" - Out September 12th, 2025
Following the haunting debut single “Winter on the Vine” (July 2025), Danish dark-pop project TRALALAS, led by songwriter and musician Morten Alsinger, unveils its second release: “Burns”, available 12th September on all major streaming platforms.

Where “Winter on the Vine” reflected on cycles of change and acceptance, “Burns” turns inward - a 3 minute 30 second meditation on the plasticity of emotions, of loss and gain, friendship and love. Together, the two singles set the thematic course for the forthcoming debut album (October 2025), an exploration of fragility, intensity, and the shifting ground of human connection.
Alsinger describes the album’s approach as essayistic: "I write about what I know, almost like an examination to search for relevance in the world, in existence. The early French humanist Montaigne said something like, ‘I write from the dark against the light.’ I like that sentiment. Not in a moral sense—I loathe dogmas—but as a position. It’s easier to relate to light from the dark. That’s where perspective comes from.” - Morten Alsinger
Anchored by Alsinger’s songwriting and vocals, “Burns” is shaped by a tight circle of collaborators:
• Morten Alsinger – songwriter, vocals, co-production
• Heidi Lindahl – vocals
• Thomas Golzen – guitar, bass, co-production
• Christina Schmidt Damm – keys
• Francis Nørgaard Jensen – drums
• Thomas Li – co-production
With its blend of analog textures and lyrical depth, “Burns” expands the sound and scope of TRALALAS, offering another glimpse into the debut albums.
