The Danish dark-pop project TRALALAS releases haunting new single “Winter on the Vine”
The Danish dark-pop project TRALALAS, led by musician and songwriter Morten Alsinger, just released its powerful debut single “Winter on the Vine” on all major streaming platforms. The track marks the first glimpse of TRALALAS’s forthcoming album, set for release in October 2025.
"Winter on the Vine" is a song about waiting, irreversible change, and the quiet acceptance of nature’s inescapable order. With poetic restraint and cinematic weight, the single reflects on the futility of resisting natural cycles - both external and internal - and the human struggle to reconcile with what cannot be controlled.
Sonically, the track blends analog warmth with sparse, brooding textures—an aesthetic hallmark of the TRALALAS sound. Rooted in Alsinger’s early years in Denmark’s electro-punk underground and matured through a decade of electronic production with the duo VERTICAL, TRALALAS is a return to raw songwriting and analog instrumentation. Influences include Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave, Joy Division, and The Walker Brothers.
