Aenaos Records launches Label Site Generator, an Open-Source Website Tool for Independent Labels
Leipzig-based Aenaos Records has launched Label Site Generator, a new open-source tool designed to help independent labels build complete, fast, and low-maintenance websites from their existing Bandcamp catalogues.
The project is now live as a public landing page and available as a GPL-3.0 licensed release on GitHub.

Built from the practical needs of running a contemporary independent label, Label Site Generator turns a Bandcamp label page into a full static website with artist pages, release pages, news, tour dates, streaming links, and physical-format information. It pulls roster and release data from Bandcamp, enriches it with platform links including Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, YouTube and SoundCloud, and can add Discogs-based physical release data for vinyl, CD and cassette editions.
The tool also supports artist biographies, photo galleries, social links, upcoming shows, newsletter integration, and Markdown or Word-based news publishing. The output is pure HTML, intended for static hosting environments such as S3 and CloudFront, Netlify, or other simple deployment setups. According to the public project documentation, the generator is built with Node.js and Nunjucks templates and is released as open source under the GPL-3.0 license.
For Aenaos Records, the project is a natural extension of the label's wider identity. Founded in 2018 and based in Leipzig, the label works across darkwave, gothic rock, post-punk, shoegaze, dream pop, synthwave, neofolk, dark ambient, and adjacent forms. Its public site describes the label as a curated space for artists who value artistic depth over commercial formula.
The newly launched Aenaos Records website already runs on Label Site Generator and reflects the project's core idea: a label site should not feel like a generic storefront or a CMS burden. It should present artists, releases, formats, and context with clarity, speed, and a coherent visual language, while remaining easy to maintain over time. Aenaos Records introduced the redesigned site on April 4, 2026, noting that it was built from the ground up to better showcase its artists and music.
With Label Site Generator, Aenaos Records is opening that infrastructure to others. The tool is aimed at independent labels that want a more complete web presence without building a custom backend or managing a heavy publishing stack. For labels working with Bandcamp as a central catalogue, it offers a direct path from existing release data to a fully branded website.
